Day6 renew exclusive contracts with JYP Entertainment

Day6 have renewed their exclusive contracts with JYP Entertainment – find out more below.

Today (September 5), the K-pop boyband and JYP Entertainment announced the contract renewals on social media. In an official statement, JYP Entertainment wrote to the group's supporters: “We will continue to show our fullest support for the bright future of Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, Dowoon, and for the fans who cheer for them.”

The contract renewals mark the second time the group has re-signed with JYP Entertainment since their debut – the last contract was signed in 2022.

Today also marks the release of Day6’s new album, ‘The Decade’. It contains 10 tracks: ‘Dream Bus’, ‘Inside Out’, ‘Sun, Stay Asleep’, ‘Disco Day’, ‘My Way’, ‘Before The Stars’, ‘Take All My Heart’, ‘Dream Rider’, ‘So It’s The End’ and ‘Our Season’.

‘The Decade’ serves as Day6’s first full-length album since 2019’s ‘The Book Of Us: Entropy’. Since then, they have released four EPs: ‘The Book Of Us: Demon’, ‘The Book Of Us: Negentropy’, ‘Fourever’ and ‘Band Aid’.

‘The Decade’ also marks the 10th anniversary since the group debuted. Member Young K reflected on the record and their anniversary: “It’s an opportunity to look back on the past 10 years, but it also feels like the beginning of a new chapter. I’m grateful to everyone who has been with us so far, and I feel a deep affection for them. I’m also looking forward to the future.”
