For Your Viewing Pleasure: Toying with Monochrome

Welcome back to another instalment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.

Monochrome is often interpreted as simply black and white, attached to the image of elegance or suave aloofness. That holds true for Kim Yeon-ah who is solemn in her chic long dress, and Yeom Hye-ran who looks rather imposing in her black suit. However, Park Yoon-ho breaks the rather stiff image of monochrome outfits with his funky stance, drawing extra attention to his bottoms in particular. On the other hand, Yoona also adopts a different take on monochrome by donning a grey outfit, a color that sitll lies on the spectrum of this palette. The cold weather seems to have everyone leaning toward simpler colors, but that doesn’t mean you have to cut down on having fun with fashion!
