News Writer (K-Pop / K-Drama / K-Beauty)
Write fast, accurate, fan-friendly coverage of K-Pop, K-Drama, K-Beauty, and Asian entertainment — with strong headlines, clean sourcing, and a knack for what’s trending.
Non-paid initially • Referral-based compensation + future ad-revenue share tied to your posts
We’ll share the exact tracking + revenue share formula once ads/monetization are fully live. Early contributors will be prioritized.
Responsibilities
- •Publish K-Pop / K-Drama / K-Beauty news posts (and occasional features).
- •Write clear headlines + short summary + structured article body.
- •Add images (properly credited) and internal links to group/star profiles when relevant.
- •Keep content accurate: confirm names, dates, agencies, and event details.
- •Optimize posts for search (keywords, readable formatting, link structure).
Requirements
- •Strong English writing (you don’t need to be a native speaker).
- •Understands K-Pop beyond 2–3 groups; comfortable covering a wide range of artists.
- •Can follow sourcing rules (official announcements, reputable outlets, timestamps).
- •Basic web skills: Google Docs, CMS workflow, image sourcing/crediting.
- •Can meet reasonable deadlines when a post is assigned.
Nice to have
- •Experience writing for fandom/news sites.
- •Basic SEO knowledge (titles, keywords, internal links).
- •Korean language ability (reading/understanding sources).

How it works
- 1.You’ll get an author identity and publishing workflow.
- 2.You can pitch topics or claim topics from the team queue.
- 3.Every post you publish includes your unique referral tracking link.
- 4.Future ad-revenue share will be calculated from performance/traffic of your posts (details shared once ads are fully enabled).
