BAE173's Yoojun, Junseo, Muzin, Youngseo, and Bit Leave PocketDol Studio Following Contract Expiration

This news comes after the members exclusive contracts with the company coming to an end on June 30. Both the members and the company mutually decided to part ways allowing the members to continue solo activities. 

Each member posted their own letter on the group’s official fancafe thanking their fans, ELSE, for all of their unconditional love and support given over their six years as a group. 

Member J-min, who previously halted his activities with BAE173 to promote as a member of  CLOSE YOUR EYES, the group formed on the survival show Project7, is now the only remaining member still signed under the company. 

Back in February, after 10 years, Hangyul left PocketDol Studio after his exclusive contract with the company came to an end. Doha, who filed a lawsuit against the company back in November 2025, was granted an injunction by the courts to suspend his exclusive contract on April 21, leading to his official departure from the group. 

Dohyon, who left the group back in 2023, also filed a lawsuit against the company to suspend his exclusive contract and won the case. Dohyon is currently pursuing solo activities under the name toni rei.

BAE173 debuted on November 30, 2020 with their first mini album, INTERSECTION: SPARK, with title track “Crush on U.” The group’s latest release was on October 14, 2025 with first full-length album NEW CHAPTER: DESEAR and title track “Turned Up.”
