Starship Entertainment and Amuse Japan are set to debut a new global boy group "AEN."

On May 31, Starship Entertainment launched social media platforms and announced the final member lineup for their new and upcoming global boy group with Amuse Japan called "AEN."

"AEN", which stands for "A New Era of Now" will consist of 7 members; Jin Bomin, Kim Jiyong, Jang Kyuhyun, Miyata Haru, Haruto, Lee Junseo, and Susuki Kaira. Six of the seven members of "AEN" were previous contestants on Starship Entertainment's recent survival show, "Debut's Plan" that created the boy group "IDID."

Haruto is the only member of "AEN" who did not previously compete on "Debut's Plan." Member Jiyong, who has been a trainee under Starship since 2019, the longest out of all of the members, will finally be making his debut. Jiyong previously trained with Starship Entertainment's 4th generation boy group, Cravity, but ultimately did not debut with them due to his young age at the time.

The group will be managed by both Starship Entertainment and Amuse Japan and will operate as a "global boy group" promoting in Asia and in other parts of the world. Their debut date is currently unknown, but they will be hosting a free greeting showcase, "First Encounter" on June 27 at SGC Hall Ariake in Tokyo, Japan. Participation in the showcase will be chosen by a lottery.
