Fans went crazy on social media after it was announced on June 5 that boy group Wanna One, who was created on the second season of Produce X 101 are reportedly set to perform at KCON LA 2026.

According to a few articles from several Korean news sites including JoyNews24, Wanna One is expected to make an appearance at this years KCON LA that is set for August 14-16. It is currently unknown what day exactly the group is set to perform on, but this will be the group's first major global appearance in several years.
Wanna One made their official debut on August 7, 2017 with title track, "Energetic" that broke several records and went on to have a great career as a group all the way up until their official disbandment in early 2019.
The group made their return as a full group back in late April of this year through their new variety program called, "Wanna One Go: Back to Base" that premiered on MNET PLUS. They also released a heartfelt fan song called "Spring Breeze, Again," that was released on May 20.
In early April, 9 out of the 11 Wanna One members held a surprise fan meeting at the DMC Culture Park in the Sangam-dong District of Seoul, South Korea that gave them a chance to reunite with their fans after so many years. Members Jisung, Sungwoon, Minhyun, Seongwu, Jaehwan, Jihoon, Woojin, Jinyoung, and Daehwi were in attendance.
Members Kang Daniel and Lai Kuanlin were not in attendance due to Kang Daniel's military enlistment and Lai Kuanlin's retirement as an idol. Kuanlin is now currently a director for films in China. The two did make a few apperances in the group's new variety show by leaving video messages for fans.
No further information that been released yet regarding Wanna One's official appearance at KCON LA 2026 nor what day they are set to perform, but the three day convention and concert, hosted by CJ ENM, will take place on August 14-16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena.
