Xikers' Minjae and FLARE U's Chuei Liyu Selected as New MC's For SBS Life's 'The Show'

After a 7-month long hiatus, Korean music program, SBS Life's 'The Show' made its official return on June 2, 2026. On July 3, 2026, it was officially announced that Xikers xikers K-POP GROUP xikers is a ten-member South Korean boy group under KQ Entertainment. Originally introduced as KQ Fellaz 2, the group officially debuted on March 30, 2023, with the mini album HOUSE OF TRICKY : Doorbell Ringing. The grou ' Kim Minjae and FLARE U's Chuei Liyu were selected as the new MC's for the program.

'The Show' originally went on hiatus after airing its final episode on November 11, 2025, after a 14-year long run as a program. On May 13, 2026, it was announced that 'The Show', now co-produced by SBS Life and BIGC, would be returning and will be broadcasted every Tuesday at 6 p.m. KST now on SBS Life and will also be streamed on TikTok.

Minjae and Liyu were previously selected as special MC's for the first episode back after the program's hiatus, but were not confirmed as the official MC's for the program until July 3. A video posted to the show's official X account revealed the two as the new MC's. Minjae and Liyu's first official broadcast as the new official MC's for 'The Show' will air on July 14 at 6 p.m. KST. They will also have a special stage and will be covering "Overdrive" by TWS.

Liyu, who originally competed on BOYS II PLANET, debuted in duo FLARE U, under FNC Entertainment on May 13, 2026 with fellow BOYS II PLANET contestant Choi Woojin. Prior to debuting in FLARE U, Liyu originally debuted as a soloist on December 3, 2025 with single album Sweet Dream.
