As The Korea Times reports, the suspect was arrested on suspicion of violating the anti-stalking law after she went to Jung Kook’s residence in the Yongsan District at around 2:50pm last Sunday (January 4).
Authorities at Yongsan Police Station in central Seoul have confirmed that the individual is a Brazilian woman in her 30s.
Police said the woman caused a disturbance at the front of the property, including throwing mail. She had also visited Jung Kook’s home on two occasions last month, and was arrested at the scene.
Jung Kook requested a no-contact order at the time, according to officers. Police plan to investigate the woman further to determine the details of the case.
In June of last year, another woman was arrested for attempting to break into Jung Kook’s home. She had allegedly flown in from China to witness the singer’s military discharge. Later in the year, a separate female fan was arrested after trying to gain access to the property.

Following the latter break-in attempt, Jung Kook hosted a live address where he spoke about the situation. In the video, the singer told fans that he had witnessed the incident happen live through his home cameras.
“I had to make it clear – being supportive is one thing, but what’s wrong is wrong,” he explained.
Jung Kook continued, issuing a warning to his fans: “If you come, I’ll lock you in. Everything is recorded as evidence, and you’ll be dragged away. If you step into my parking lot without my permission, you’ll be trapped until I open the door. CCTV is everywhere. Unless you want to end up at the police station, don’t ever come in.”
Meanwhile, BTS
have welcomed in the new year by revealing plans for a new album and world tour in 2026. The long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s ‘Be’ is set to arrive on March 20. A title has not yet been shared.
NME recently featured the forthcoming LP as one of our most anticipated album releases of 2026, writing: “Expect this comeback to be massive.”
The K-pop stars reunited last July for the first time since 2022, with all seven members having completed their mandatory military service in South Korea. During a special livestream, BTS
confirmed rumours that they were preparing to release new music.
BTS
went on hiatus in 2022, so that its members could also “explore some solo projects”, while juggling their mandatory military service. Jung Kook’s debut solo album, ‘Golden’, arrived in 2023.
