setlist: what the K-pop kings should play on their new world tour
‘The City Las Vegas’ will run in Las Vegas, Nevada, from May 20 to May 31, followed by ‘The City Busan,’ on June 5 to June 21, and will showcase a range of immersive experiences combining the music and story of their fifth studio album with each city’s iconic landmarks.
The US leg of the project will coincide with the band’s series of shows at Allegiant Stadium on May 23, 24, 27, and 28, and will offer fans immersive experiences ranging from BTS
-themed hotel rooms to collaborations with food and drinks companies to exclusive after-party events.
Building on the success of ‘The City Las Vegas’ in 2022, this year’s edition is set to do things on an even larger scale. Landmark locations across Las Vegas will be lit up in BTS
colours, with The Strip and digital marquees set to be illuminated in the album’s signature red theme.
Following that, ‘The City Busan’ will continue the experience in Korea, offering a variety of activities for fans. Detailed schedules and programming will be announced at a later date via BTS
’ official channel on the global fan platform Weverse.

Earlier this month, BTS
kicked off their huge 2026 and 2027 world tour at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, and broke out tracks from ‘ARIRANG’ for the first time. That gig saw them debut ‘Body to Body’, ‘Hooligan’, ‘2.0’, and ‘Like Animals’, with RM performing seated for much of the set after spraining his ankle in rehearsals.
NME caught the show and gave it four-and-a-half stars, with Rhian Daly writing: “Throughout, it’s clear that they’re still as committed to BTS
as before their enforced break for military service, RM referring to decisions they’ve made so they “can keep doing this for a long time”.
“It’s a sentiment that makes the fireworks-heavy final song, ‘Into The Sun’, feel beautifully optimistic – this might be the end of the show, but BTS
’ moment in the sun is far from over.”
The current run of shows are the first tour dates from the K-Pop giants in three years and will see them cover 34 regions with 79 live shows, marking their biggest tour yet. Before kicking off, they held a free concert in Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, which was livestreamed to over 190 countries on Netflix and welcomed roughly 104,000 fans – breaking the record for the largest-ever public concert in South Korea.
Their North American tour dates commence from April 25 in Florida and run through to the end of May, and after that, BTS
will head to Busan, South Korea, for two performances on June 12 and 13.
They’ll return to Europe later that month, with shows scheduled in Madrid, Brussels, Munich and Paris. There are currently only two UK dates on the group’s 2026/27 itinerary, taking place in London on July 6 and 7, 2026.
Other dates include more slots in North America, Asia and Australia, set for later in 2026 and early 2027. Find all ticket information here, UK tickets here, and international tickets here.
‘ARIRANG’ was given a four-star review from NME, which read: “Much of ‘ARIRANG’ negotiates polar ideas – BTS
as heroes or normal people, the buzz of the spotlight and the hush of their private worlds, longing for the euphoric parts of life to continue versus wanting to get off of the ride.”
Since it dropped, BTS
have unveiled a surprise hidden ‘ARIRANG‘ track, and NME has created what it considers to be the “dream BTS
setlist”. Check it out here.
