Koo Kyo Hwan’s Life Takes A Turn After Discovering His Ability To Resurrect In New Film

Koo Kyo Hwan’s upcoming film “Revival Man: The Red” (literal translation) has unveiled new stills!

Based on a webtoon, “Revival Man: The Red” follows Seok Hwan (Koo Kyo Hwan), an unemployed job seeker whose only qualification is his unfounded confidence. After dying, he discovers he has the ability to come back to life 72 hours later. As he learns about his extraordinary power, he becomes the target of a mysterious pursuit.

Koo Kyo Hwan plays Seok Hwan, a man who grows stronger each time he dies. Seok Hwan is an aspiring job seeker who dreams of becoming a respectable employee who can treat his family to a proper meal with his first paycheck. However, his hot temper often causes him to fail job interviews.

One day, he is killed by strangers who break into his home. However, 72 hours later, he wakes up as if nothing happened and realizes that he has the ability to resurrect. He then finds himself pursued by mysterious individuals.

Koo Kyo Hwan brings Seok Hwan’s human side to life with his signature charm while maintaining his wit even in tense situations. He raised anticipation for his character by sharing, “Since it is a project that requires a lot of rolling around and moving, I built up my stamina so I wouldn’t get tired.”

Director Baek Jong Yeol also shared, “At some point, the synchronization was so seamless that it became difficult to distinguish between Seok Hwan and Koo Kyo Hwan.”

“Revival Man: The Red” is set to hit theaters on September 30.
