Transforms for anan No. 2514
On October 7, &TEAM’s K debuted his first solo cover for Japanese magazine anan, a lifestyle magazine covering topics from beauty to wellness. The No. 2514 is a special edition K collaborated with hair and makeup artist Hiro Odagiri. The main theme for this issue was “Refined Self-Care,” and K’s feature explores two sides of him: a “Sweet Prince” and “Bitter Prince.” K is known to be a charismatic performer, and through this feature, fans get a closer look at K’s dual-sided charm as a prince.
Two Sides of K The Prince: “The Prince’s Sweet Self-Care"

“Sweet Prince”
&TEAM’s K’s sweet and soft side can be seen in the photos captured of him hugging a white teddy bear, playfully holding the bear on his head, and grabbing the teddy bear’s hands in a silly, fun-loving way. In other shots, K reads books, hugs pillows, and gives fans a cute pouty look when facing the camera.
“Bitter Prince”
K then shows the duality of a sweet prince as a more serious, confident prince with a dark plum suit, clear, dark-rimmed glasses, and a long grey trench coat, as he leans back effortlessly onto a grey wall. Other photos show him holding a bouquet of white flowers as he looks assertively at the camera.
Duality of K
These two contrasting sides of K demonstrate his duality as an artist who is a prince in both soft and dark aspects. Recently, during a Music Bank recording for &TEAM’s new album, K promised fans he would secure them a coffee truck with his own money next time, as he realized some fans arrived early for the recording and had left home without eating breakfast. His “Sweet Prince” photoshoot reflects K’s natural soft and caring side for LUNÉ.
On the other hand, K’s “Bitter Prince” photos reflect K’s assertive, bold, and confident side as a performer. K is known for his striking and powerful dancing as he always gives 110% for LUNÉ. In a recent live, K talked about wanting to give LUNÉ’s his all, even when he’s tired before concerts. He always reminds the other members that even if they’re tired, for LUNÉ, they should always give their best performance and give it their all every time they step on stage.
Beyond The Photos: K and Odagiri Talk About Their Self-Care
At the end of the photoshoot, K and Odagiri sit down during a “Special Cross Talk,” where they unwind with a beverage and discuss self-care recommendations. When asked what he does on his time off, K responded, “It's hard to make time for myself, but if I have about an hour of free time, I go to the sauna. I've been hooked recently.” He particularly likes to go to the sauna to do a digital detox and sit with his thoughts. He explains the experience as, “When you enter the sauna, you can forcibly shut it off, so you can also create time to have a conversation with yourself.”
Fans also got to see K’s ambitious and goal-oriented side when he talked about writing down his goals since high school. He said, “When I was in junior high, I used to write practice notes in the track and field club. Basically, it's a diary where I set goals and write down every day about how to achieve them.”
K also further discussed his goals for the group and spreading Japanese culture globally by saying, “Our goal is to deliver songs on Billboard, Grammy, and other stages around the world. And how can we deliver the beauty of the Japanese? We believe that only we can do this, so we want to create a unique culture.”
A Prince with More Than One Side
&TEAM K successfully demonstrated both his soft and confident sides for LUNÉ for the No. 2514 issue, “The Prince’s Sweet Self-Care.” Hiro Odaigiri and his professional styling direction captured K's existing duality perfectly. Being K’s first solo cover magazine, LUNÉ can only eagerly anticipate future projects from Prince K.
