'Fanomenon' aims to be the “Korean Coachella,” lasting six days over two weekends, from December 2 to 12. J.Y. Park has confirmed that the lineup will not be limited to K-pop and that he already contacted international artists, receiving positive responses, although no names have been announced yet. 

In addition to the musical lineup, the festival will feature the “Fandom Awards,” which will honor the 10 most influential K-pop fan communities. To this end, the idols will take the stage to accept the awards on behalf of their fans, as a way to more actively integrate fans into the industry and strengthen their relationship with the idols. “The winner is not the artist, but rather the artist’s fans, and the artist receives the award on their behalf,” Park stated at the press conference. 

The combination of the words “fan” and “phenomenon” reflects the organizers’ vision that fans are not merely passive consumers, but rather active partners who drive the global reach of Korean culture.

Besides the festival in 2027, a world tour is also planned, kicking off in Los Angeles in May 2028.
