The comeback marks MAMAMOO’s first full-group release in about 3 years and 8 months, following their 2022 release “MIC ON.” For longtime fans, this is not just another comeback. It feels like a reunion.

“FOUR AS ONE. MOVING 4WARD.”

MAMAMOO began their official comeback countdown by sharing the scheduler for “4WARD” through their official social media accounts.

The scheduler image immediately caught attention for its polished, fashion-magazine-inspired mood. One detail stood out in particular: four empty chairs placed side by side, symbolizing the four members coming together again.

The phrase “FOUR AS ONE. MOVING 4WARD.” also added emotional weight to the announcement, suggesting that MAMAMOO is not simply looking back at their legacy — they are preparing to move into a new chapter together.

The Meaning Behind “4WARD”

The title “4WARD” combines the number 4, representing the four members, with the word “forward,” symbolizing progress and a new direction.

It is a simple but meaningful title for a group known for strong vocals, bold performances, and a rare chemistry that fans have loved for years.

Each member has continued to build a powerful solo presence, but MAMAMOO’s full-group synergy has always been something special. With “4WARD,” fans are eager to see what kind of sound, message, and performance the quartet will bring this time.

Comeback Teasers Are Coming Soon

According to the comeback schedule, MAMAMOO will release a series of teaser contents leading up to the single.

Fans can expect:

• Mood teaser
• Concept photos
• Lyric spoilers
• Film photos
• Music video teaser

The rollout is expected to build excitement throughout comeback week and give fans a closer look at the style and story behind “4WARD.”

MAMAMOO Will Also Launch Their 2026 World Tour

The comeback will not stop with the single release.

MAMAMOO will begin their “MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR [4WARD]” in Seoul from June 19 to June 21 at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu.

After opening in Seoul, the group is expected to visit major cities across Asia and the Americas, bringing their performances to global fans once again.

For a group often praised as one of K-pop’s most reliable live acts, the tour announcement makes the comeback even bigger. MAMAMOO has long been known as a group fans can trust for vocals, stage presence, and personality — basically, no lip-sync babysitting needed.

Fans Are Ready for MAMAMOO’s Next Chapter

MAMAMOO’s return as a full group is already becoming one of the most anticipated K-pop moments of the summer.

After years of solo activities, individual growth, and fans waiting patiently, “4WARD” feels like both a celebration and a new beginning.

With a special single, a full teaser schedule, and a world tour on the way, MAMAMOO is ready to remind everyone why their name still carries so much power in K-pop.
