The album's title track, ".exe," embraces a nostalgic Y2K-inspired concept, complete with Windows computer aesthetics throughout the music video. Unlike the group's previous title tracks, which focused on hard-hitting beats and powerful performances, ".exe" marks NouerA's first attempt at a love concept. The song captures the fearless feeling of falling for someone while showcasing a softer, more refreshing side of the group without losing their signature energy.

The mini album also includes 3 additional tracks that each explore a different sound. "LOCKED IN" is a hip-hop track that feels most similar to NouerA's earlier releases, while "W.T.F.(un)" leans into an upbeat house-inspired sound that has become popular among many fifth-generation groups, expressing the awkward and clumsy emotions of having a crush. Rounding out the album, "LIFE IN COLOR" slows things down with lo-fi production and a laid-back atmosphere, offering a nice contrast to the rest of the project.
