Fans have already begun pouring into Tampa International Airport, which has been lit up in purple ahead of the first U.S. tour stop on BTS
's long-awaited 'Arirang' world tour! Tampa is getting ready to welcome the 7-member group to the city, with airport pop-up stores, an entire baseball field dedicated to Weverse pick-up spots, and the entirety of Tampa Bay Boulevard shut down for the week to accommodate tents and trailers filled with concert merchandise.
BTS
's Saturday, April 25th concert will mark their first ever performance in the state of Florida as a group. Vocalist and eldest member Jin played two sold out shows at Tampa's Benchmark International Arena (formerly known as Amalie Arena) on his RunSeokiin Ep. Tour in July 2025, and teased fans on the second night that he would encourage his band members to return to Tampa! Becoming the first US tour stop for BTS
is an exciting landmark for fans in the area, who in the past have found themselves having to travel between states for shows.
The band is set to play for more than 60,000 fans on three separate nights in Raymond James Stadium, which is busy with intense preparation for the massive volume of dedicated fans that will be filling the sold-out venue. The mayor of Tampa, Jane Castor, even posted an Instagram reel celebrating the anticipated arrival of the group. She shared that Tampa's Old City Hall and the surrounding bridges in the downtown Tampa area would be illuminated in purple, BTS
's representative color, in honor of their presence in Florida! The purple lights will be visible between Saturday, April 25th and Wednesday, April 29tr, extending for the duration of BTS
's shows in the city.
