The worst kind of heartbreak is not just about losing a relationship. It is the exact moment you recognize that someone you trusted with your entire world, someone you would have bet everything on, has completely let you down. It messes with your mind. It makes you question your own instincts, your own judgment, and how you could possibly have been so blind to someone’s true colors. It leaves you standing in the wreckage, wondering how the person who was supposed to be your safe space became the exact reason you feel miserable.

That exact, messy, heartbreaking pain is what the Korean-American singer-songwriter and actor Eric Nam × Artist bio Eric Nam Real name: Nam Yoon-doPosition: Soloist, Singer-Songwriter, HostNationality: Korean-AmericanBirthday: 1988-11-17Birthplace: Atlanta, Georgia, USA Eric Nam is a Korean-American singer-songwriter, entertainer, host, and entrepreneur known for his international music career and work connecting Korean and global entertainment audiences. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Eric Nam was climbing the corporate ladder at Deloitte before pivoting to music. Leaving the corporate world behind, he spent over a decade building a music career in the K-pop industry following his debut with the single "Heaven's Door" in 2013. Today, operating as an independent global artist bridging Western indie-pop sensibilities with an international footprint, he has been transparent about navigating identity, isolation, and mental health. This record marks his first major project since his 2023 album "House on a Hill".

The upcoming nine-track record maps out a deeply vulnerable journey of searching for connection in the aftermath of isolation:

1. How the Fire Started

2. Miss Me More

3. Someday

4. Psycho

5. Reverie

6. Sober Up

7. Make Me Cry

8. Lighthouse

9. Half As Much

Ahead of the full album drop, Eric has rolled out singles like "How the Fire Started", "Miss Me More", and "Someday". These pre-released tracks lean directly into the introspective loneliness and turbulent emotional processing that define the core theme of the album, giving fans an early glimpse into the raw storytelling of this new era.

We are so used to seeing Eric as the comforting, smiling presence in music and media. But this new era feels different because he is digging into the heavy, unglamorous side of life. He is exploring the kind of betrayal that makes you feel completely isolated, like you are losing your mind trying to make sense of it all.

What makes this release special is that he is not just putting out sad songs and hiding. Through his upcoming tours and community gatherings, he is building a space where fans can actually talk about that kind of loneliness without feeling ashamed of it.

When October 16 arrives, "Confessions of a Lonely Heart" will not be just another standard COMEBACK. For anyone who has ever had to pick up the pieces after an unimaginable betrayal, it is going to feel like someone finally turning on a light in a dark room.
