I-dle’s leader, Soyeon released her first full-length solo album, What a Wonderful Life on September 7. The album features the official title track “I’m gonna TOESA”, which also features South Korean entertainer, Kian84. “I’m gonna TOESA” translates to “I’m going to quit my job”, as “toesa” is a Korean term and slang word for wanting to resign or quit a company.
This full-length album is Soyeon’s first solo release in over five years, following the release of her single album, Windy, back in 2021.
“I’m gonna TOESA” is a pop-rock song heavily influenced by the sounds of 2000s garage bands, giving it a nostalgic feeling while listening. It is also an upbeat, groovy song that makes it very easy to listen to. This song does an amazing job of showcasing Soyeon’s beautiful vocals as well.
“I’m gonna TOESA” also took home two music show wins. The song won first place on M Countdown on October 1 and Inkigayo yesterday. A great release from Soyeon, it was a late listen for me actually, but definitely turned into a favorite.
5. “Mark on Me” by &TEAM
×
Released on: September 8
YX Labels’ nine-member boy group, &TEAM
×
, returned with their second Korean mini-album, Mark on Me, on September 8. The official title track, also titled “Mark on Me’, is an easy-listening pop track that features a beautiful medley that gradually becomes more intense as the song progresses, while also showcasing the group’s angelic voices. The music video for “Mark on Me” also does a great job highlighting the group’s amazing performance skills and synchronization.
Alongside “Mark on Me,”, the entire album also continues to follow the group’s ongoing lore, which is something they have incorporated since their debut. The other tracks on the album are also worth checking out! My favorite track is “러브장 (Love Jang).” Each song also sounds so different from the others, making the album feel complete from the beginning to the end.
“Mark on Me” also took home a first place win on Music Bank on September 18, making this their fifth overall music show win.
Mark on Me is definitely one of my favorite albums from this year, and if you haven’t gotten into &TEAM

yet, you definitely should.
6. “Energy” by Y:SY
Released on September 9
Another song you should definitely check out, in case you missed it last month, is the R&B sounding track, “Energy.” by Y:SY. “Energy” was the official title track of Y:SY, also known as Lee Seoyeon’s first mini-ablum GOODIES, which was released on September 9.
Y:SY made her official solo debut on November 17, 2025, with the digital single, “Naked” after signing with H1GHR MUSIC in July 2025.
This was another release that I listened to late and I regret doing so because “Energy” is such a chill and laid-back song that does a great job of showcasing Y:SY’s beautiful vocals. The music video for “Energy” also matches the overall vibe of the song. She also participated in both the lyrics and composition of “Energy”, showing her versatility as an artist.
7. “Coward" (겁쟁이) by PENTAGON
Released on: September 11
To celebrate their 10-year anniversary as a group, PENTAGON returned for the first time in over three years with the special single “Coward (겁쟁이)” on September 11. “Coward (겁쟁이)” was written, composed, and produced by member Kino with all group activities for the release taking place under Kino’s music label, NAKED.
The official music video for “Coward (겁쟁이)” was also released helping to tell the overall story of the song. “Coward (겁쟁이)” is a soft pop track about finding the courage to reconnect with someone after a long time apart and missing them. This sentiment reflects PENTAGON’s return to music and reunion with their longtime fans, UNIVERSE, after three long years.
The song is an easy-listening track that evokes a feeling of nostalgia while listening. The song also does a great job of showcasing the group’s strong and diverse vocal tones that fans definitely missed hearing.
Following the release of “Coward (겁쟁이),” PENTAGON also plans to embark on a group tour.
8. “Made My Night” by LE SSERAFIM
×
Released on: September 11
Girl group LE SSERAFIM
×
released their second single album Made My Night with the title track of the same name on September 11. “Made My Night”, a dance-pop sound track, was released in collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment's well-known video game, Overwatch. This is the group’s second song collaboration with Overwatch, following their first collaboration on their 2023 song, “Perfect Night.”
The collaboration includes footage of the members in the music video for “Made My Night” while also incorporating heroes from the game. Similar to the track “Perfect Night,” the song tells the story of having a good night with your friends or significant other. The track was also very popular on TikTok, with many users using the song as the sound for their videos both LE SSERAFIM

related and un-related.
This release comes a few months after the release of the group’s second full album PUREFLOW, Pt. 1, which featured the title track “BOOMPALA.” “Made My Night” is a fun and upbeat song that you could play around anyone who is simply trying to have a good night.
Rising Star group, NCHIVE
×
, returned with their first mini-album ACHIEVE, with the title track “INCEPTION” on September 26. In case you didn’t know, NCHIVE

took a different approach to the rollout of ACHIEVE by releasing everything relating to the album, including the album’s concept photos, tracklist, music video teaser, and official music video, all within the same day.
Within 18 hours, everything regarding the comeback was released, which is something we don’t often see in K
×
-POP. This unique approach gave NCHIVE
×
a chance to showcase their identity as a group.
“INCEPTION” is a heavy hitting, hip-hop inspired track with intense beats that gives each member a chance to showcase their vocals and rap verses. All of the members of NCHIVE
×
also contributed to the lyrics, composition, and production for some of the songs on the album.
Following the release of ACHIEVE, NCHIVE
×
has since embarked on their world tour, WE’VE, in Europe and is set to continue across approximately 25 cities around the world.
Starship Entertainment’s fourth generation boy group, CRAVITY
×
, returned with their eighth mini-album, sonorous, on September 30, ending off the month of September with a bang. Sonorous features the title track, “Louder,” an electric-pop dance track that starts off quite dark and gradually progresses, highlighting the group’s diverse vocal and rap tones.
Members Serim

×
contributed lyrics to “Louder” and Serim
×
, Taeyoung
×
, and member Woobin
×
also contributed to the composition of the tracks, “Fantasy”, “Love Me”, and “Odd One Out.”
The music video for “Louder” also maintains the song’s dark atmosphere at the beginning, but throughout the video, it showcases not only the group’s amazing vocals but also their synchronization and stunning visuals. The point choreography for “Louder” is another major highlight of the comeback, as it fits so well with the beat of the song.
The group is currently promoting “Louder” on various Korean music shows and has also recently performed at a few university festivals, allowing fans to hear not only their old songs, but also their new songs like “Louder.”. This is definitely one of my favorite releases from this year, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get into a new group. They are such a unique group who consistently brings great music every time they make a comeback.
