Lexie will no longer be part of SAINT SATINE after HYBE x Geffen confirmed her departure.
HYBE x Geffen
Lexie Levin has officially left SAINT SATINE before the global girl group’s debut, HYBE and Geffen Records announced on July 13 through a joint statement shared on Weverse and the group’s social media channels.
“Following extensive and thoughtful discussions with Lexie regarding the group’s future activities, both parties have mutually agreed to part ways,” the companies said.
The statement also confirmed that Lexie will no longer continue as a member of SAINT SATINE or as an artist under HxG, the partnership between HYBE and Geffen Records. The labels wished her well in her future projects and said they would continue supporting the remaining members as they move toward their debut.
Lexie later addressed the announcement through a statement shared on her Instagram Story. The Swedish singer explained that she initially believed SAINT SATINE was the right project for her and expressed gratitude for the opportunities and lessons she received during her time with HYBE x Geffen.
However, she suggested that differences in how she and the team approached their work ultimately led to the mutual decision to separate.
“While it feels heavy hearted, I have found peace in that some things in life aren’t destined,” she wrote, adding that she continues to have respect and appreciation for the team.
Lexie also encouraged fans to continue supporting SAINT SATINE and described Emily, Samara and Sakura as her “forever sisters.” She hinted that she intends to remain active in the entertainment industry, telling followers that her debut and future may look different from what they expected, but that she is “not done yet.”

Who Is SAINT SATINE?
SAINT SATINE is the latest global girl group project developed by HYBE and Geffen Records, the companies behind KATSEYE
.
The project began taking shape in 2025 with Emily Kelavos, Samara Siqueira and Lexie, all former participants in The Debut: Dream Academy, the competition series that formed KATSEYE
. Before receiving its official name, the group operated under the working title PRELUDE.
A fourth member was later selected through World Scout: The Final Piece, a Japanese competition program created to complete the lineup. Tobi Sakura, a 16 year old contestant from Toyama, Japan, was chosen during the show’s finale in May 2026.
The newly formed quartet performed the pre-release track “PARTY b4 the PARTY” during the finale. The group has also been connected to the pre-debut song “We Ride,” featuring World Scout finalist Ayana.
With Lexie’s departure, SAINT SATINE currently consists of Emily, Samara and Sakura. HYBE x Geffen has not announced whether another member will be added or whether the group will continue as a trio.
Although SAINT SATINE had previously been expected to debut in 2026, the companies have not publicly reconfirmed a specific debut date or updated schedule following Lexie’s exit.
Lexie’s
second departure from an HxG project
Lexie first gained public attention through The Debut: Dream Academy in 2023. She withdrew from the competition after several weeks, with the program explaining that her interests had shifted toward working behind the scenes in music production.
Her decision was explored further in the Netflix documentary Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE
, which revealed that she left the competition on her own terms.
Her later inclusion in the original SAINT SATINE lineup was viewed by many fans as a new opportunity to debut under HYBE x Geffen. Her departure now marks the second time she has exited one of the partnership’s group projects before its official launch.
Lexie’s departure may be disappointing for fans who had followed SAINT SATINE’s formation, especially because the group appeared to be approaching its official debut. Still, a mutual separation before the launch may ultimately be healthier for both sides than continuing with different expectations or working styles.
The announcement also leaves important questions about the group’s final lineup and debut plans. HYBE x Geffen’s next steps will be key in determining whether SAINT SATINE moves forward as a trio or introduces a new member.
