Sun Woo travels back in time to help keep his family safe, but there are certain decisions he makes that affect things in the future. He is in a continuous fight for time as he tries to make sure nothing bad happens to the people he loves in the future.

The story may seem complex at first, but the one thing that will truly have you hooked is Sun Woo’s unwavering love for Min Young. Watching him risk everything for her is incredibly romantic, while the series’ constant cliffhangers will leave you anxiously rooting for the OTP to finally be together. Although time travel has been done before in K-dramas, there’s something about this series that feels completely unique, and much of that is thanks to the captivating love story and chemistry between Lee Jin Wook and Jo Yoon Hee.

3. “Lookout”

Lee Si Young plays Jo Soo Ji, a cop determined to avenge the murder of her daughter, Yu Na. The killer, Yoon Si Wan (Lomon), gets away with the crime thanks to his powerful prosecutor father, Yoon Seung Ro (Choi Moo Sung). After her own attempt at revenge fails, Soo Ji is taken in by Jang Do Han (Kim Young Kwang) and his team, played by Kim Seul Gi, Key, and Shin Dong Wook. Together, they use their unique skills to take down Yoon Seung Ro, each with their own hidden agenda.

This series has all the classic makings of a thrilling revenge drama. From a team with unique skills ranging from fighting to hacking into systems, to a storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat, there’s never a dull moment. The cast delivers A+ performances, and watching the bad guys finally get what they deserve is incredibly satisfying. This is arguably one of Kim Young Kwang’s best roles, and although there isn’t a romantic storyline between the leads, the gripping plot and the cast’s ability to carry the series make it one of the best revenge dramas out there.

4. “The Potato Lab”

Kim Mi Kyung (Lee Sun Bin) has dedicated the past 12 years of her life to working at a potato research institute in a quiet mountain valley, taking her job and research very seriously. But her simple life is turned upside down when So Baek Ho (Kang Tae Oh), a handsome businessman with a bright smile and a cold, capitalist mindset, arrives at the institute. The two couldn’t be more different, and because they seem to clash over just about everything, their relationship gets off to a hilariously rocky start.

One of the most endearing parts of this K-drama is watching Kang Tae Oh’s character fall completely and hopelessly in love with Mi Kyung. The two have so much chemistry that it’s easy to get swept up in every romantic and steamy moment they share on screen. While it’s not exactly a slow burn, once the sparks start flying, the romance is everything you could hope for and more. Add in the small-town charm and healing vibes of the drama, and you’ve got a romance that’s easy to fall in love with.

5. “Discovery of Love”

Han Yeo Reum (Jung Yu Mi) and Kang Tae Ha (Eric Mun) first meet as young travelers, and Yeo Reum falls for him at first sight. The two go on to date for five years, but when Tae Ha reappears in her life a decade later, she’s already in a new relationship. Through flashbacks to their first love, Yeo Reum is forced to revisit the memories of the relationship that once made her so happy.

What makes “Discovery of Love” so worth watching is the way it captures the complicated feelings that come with first love. The flashbacks to Yeo Reum and Tae Ha’s relationship are incredibly sweet, but seeing them rekindle their love for each other years later adds a whole new layer to their story. There’s something so captivating about watching two people who once knew each other so well try to figure out if those feelings are still there. It’s a must-watch for those who love a series with nostalgia, chemistry, and an epic love triangle!
