BOYNEXTDOOR'S Sungho Selected As Show! Music Core's New MC

On August 28, it was officially confirmed that BOYNEXTDOOR’s Sungho has officially been confirmed as the new MC for Show! Music Core. 

AND2BLE’s Gyuvin and TWS’ Dohoon recently stepped down as the show’s MC following the show’s broadcast on the 22nd after 1 year and 5 months. 

It is still unknown when Sungho will officially start his MC position. Until then, Show! Music Core will continue to feature special MCs with NEXZ’S Tomoya, Yuki, and So Geon set to be the next special MCs for the upcoming broadcast on the 29th. It is also unknown who Sungho will be MCing alongside, but more information will come later. 

Sungho is the third BOYNEXTDOOR member to take on an MC position for a music show. Leader Jaehyun previously served as an MC for MCountdown alongside ZEROBASEONE ZEROBASEONE K-POP GROUP ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) is a 5-member K-pop boy group formed through Boys Planet I. Debuted on 2023-07-10 under WAKEONE. ’s Hanbin and Riize’s Sohee from January 2024 to September 2025 while maknae Woonhak served as an MC for SBS’s Inkigayo alongside Tomorrow X Together TOMORROW X TOGETHER K-POP GROUP TXT (Tomorrow X Together) is a South Korean boy group formed by BIGHIT MUSIC and debuted on March 4, 2019. The group consists of five members: Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai. Known for their powerf ’s Yeonjun and Park Jihu from July 2023 to April 2024.

BOYNEXTDOOR debuted on May 30, 2023 with their first single album, WHO! with three lead title tracks, “But I Like You”, “One and Only”, and “Serenade”. BOYNEXTDOOR are set to make their comeback with a repackaged version of their first full studio album HOME on September 28, 2026.
