Go Hyun-jung Stuns in Bold Swimsuit Photoshoot Ahead of New Drama ‘The Mantis’

On August 18, Allure Korea shared on their official SNS, “The cover star for September is Go Hyun-jung,” releasing a video and photoshoot.

Ahead of the premiere of SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama The Mantis: Original Sin (hereafter The Mantis), Go Hyun-jung tried a look she had never shown before. Her outfit and makeup were daring from head to toe.

With smoky eyes, blonde hair and eyebrows, colored contact lenses, and added freckles, she created a completely new version of herself.

Go Hyun-jung commented on her bold transformation, saying, “It feels like I went on a journey with makeup. I liked everything too much to choose. These are things I’ve never tried before. Attempts that can only be done in a photoshoot are always interesting.”

Meanwhile, The Mantis, premiering on September 5, tells the high-stakes crime thriller story of a cruel serial killer called “The Mantis.” Twenty years after the original capture, copycat crimes occur, and a detective must unexpectedly cooperate with his mother—whom he has despised all his life—to solve the case. Go Hyun-jung is expected to captivate viewers with her portrayal of the merciless serial killer, “The Mantis.”
