Singer and actor Park Jinyoung, of GOT7 GOT7 GOT7 K-POP GROUP GOT7 is a South Korean boy group that debuted in 2014. Known for self-produced music and strong international presence, the group continues activities through individual agencies while maintaining group identity. , and Wonpil, a member of the band DAY6, have worked together on a track for the first time. The collaboration was confirmed by BH Entertainment, Jinyoung's agency, and will be included on "Said & Done," the artist's second solo mini-album, scheduled for release on May 13 at 6 p.m. KST.

The partnership was hinted at midnight KST on Thursday (30), when Jinyoung published the trailer for the new album on his official YouTube channel. In one of the scenes, a handwritten note appears with the phrase "Take your time with seventeen SEVENTEEN SEVENTEEN K-POP GROUP SEVENTEEN is a self-producing boy group with 13 members, divided into hip-hop, vocal, and performance units, known for intricate choreography and songwriting. -wonpil," next to a cup of tea. The message refers to the age at which the two artists first met, at 17, when both were trainees at JYP Entertainment. Their friendship has lasted around 15 years.

The close relationship between Jinyoung and Wonpil drew attention again in March, when the singer appeared on the web show "Salon Drip" (살롱드립), hosted by comedian Jang Doyeon. During the interview, Jinyoung said he is very close to Wonpil and revealed that the two of them once spent around 11 hours talking in a single day.

According to the singer, they share a friendship in which it is possible to stay silent for up to an hour without any discomfort, picking up the conversation again whenever one of them remembers something to say. Jinyoung connected this behavior to how close the two are and described Wonpil as a friend with whom he feels comfortable even without exchanging words.

After the interview, Wonpil used the Bubble platform to comment on the topic with fans. The DAY6 member corrected the duration of the conversation, saying the original meeting lasted longer than 11 hours. According to him, it lasted at least 12 hours, and Wonpil even speculated that it may have been 12 and a half hours. To reach that conclusion, the two of them later spent another three and a half hours on the phone, in a follow-up call, just talking about the exact length of the original meeting.

The collaboration between the two is their first joint musical work and will be available with the release of "Said & Done" on May 13.
