BTS
have announced that they will live stream their comeback performance on Netflix in a new film titled "BTS
The Comeback Live | ARIRANG."
The record-breaking K-pop group revealed in January that they would be reuniting with a new album and world tour. Later that month, they confirmed that the title of the album, set to be released on March 20, would be "ARIRANG."
Now, the group has announced that a "landmark" live performance will be streamed exclusively on Netflix on March 21 at 8 PM KST (11 AM GMT).
An official statement read: “Broadcast live from Gwanghwamun, one of Seoul’s most iconic and symbolic landmarks, the event marks BTS
’ first global stage performance and celebrates the release of their highly anticipated new album, ‘ARIRANG’, which is slated for release on March 20.
“Through its partnership with HYBE, Netflix will bring BTS
’s long-awaited comeback to millions of viewers across the globe.”
The stream will be followed by the documentary "BTS
: The Return," premiering on the streaming service on March 27. The statement describes it as “an intimate documentary film chronicling the making of the band’s new album” that “offers fans a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the journey behind BTS
’s highly-anticipated return.”
On January 16, BTS
announced the cities, venues, and dates for their massive world tour in 2026 and 2027. It will be their biggest tour yet, covering 34 regions and 79 live shows.
The tour will begin in April with multiple concerts in Goyang, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan, followed by dates in North America and Europe. Only two UK shows are scheduled, taking place in London on July 6 and 7, 2026.
The band will then return to North America before embarking on more shows in South America, Asia, and Australia.
Tickets are on sale now, and you can find all ticket information here and here.
Recently, Louis Tomlinson expressed that it was “a bit of a shame” to see BTS
break One Direction’s records, saying he felt like he witnessed another record being eclipsed “every time I logged into Twitter.”
