Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight‘s new drama series House Of Guinness has confirmed a release date for next month alongside a first set of stills – take a look below.

The upcoming Netflix show, which was announced last year, is set in the 19th century and follows the brewing family in the aftermath of patriarch Benjamin Guinness’s death.

It explores the “far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children”, Arthur, Edward, Anne and Ben.

The streamer has now confirmed that all eight episodes will premiere on September 25, while first-look stills and a poster have been unveiled.

House Of Guinness stars Masters Of The Air‘s Anthony Boyle, Enola Holmes‘ Louis Partridge, Black Mirror‘s Emily Fairn, Normal People’s Fionn O’Shea, Happy Valley‘s James Norton, Everything Now‘s Niamh McCormack, Andor‘s Elizabeth Dulau and Game of Thrones‘ Jack Gleeson.

Speaking about the show, Knight told Tudum: “It’s the extraordinary story of a family who happens to be the inheritors of the biggest brewery in the world.

“They’re young and are given the task of taking on this incredibly successful brand. The first priority is: Don’t screw it up. And the second priority is to make Guinness even bigger.”

House Of Guinness is one of several upcoming projects for Knight, which includes producing an Oasis reunion tour film, as well as the Peaky Blinders film that wrapped filming earlier this year.

The writer has also hinted at a new series of the Birmingham-set crime drama, which is reportedly set to go ahead in 2026.

He has also been confirmed to be writing the next James Bond film, which is being directed by Dune‘s Denis Villeneuve following Amazon’s takeover of the franchise.

Teasing his plans for the next 007 project, he recently told BBC Radio 5’s Live Breakfast: “The way I look at it, you’ve just got to do what you do, do it as well as you can and then what else can you do?

“I’m hoping that being a Bond fan for so many years, that will sort of be imbued into me and I’ll be able to produce something that’s the same but different and better and stronger and bolder.”
